Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole is an upcoming computer-animated film based on the series of children's fantasy books Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky. Zack Snyder is directing the film, and Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor, David Wenham, and Emilie de Ravin voice the characters. Production took place in Australia at Animal Logic, and the film is scheduled to be released on September 24, 2010.[1] It will be released in part in RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.
